About PPTX and PPT

PPTX (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation (Office Open XML)) is PowerPoint's modern XML-based format, supporting animations, transitions, and embedded media.

PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation) is PowerPoint's legacy binary format, predating the XML-based PPTX.

What to expect: PPTX and PPT support similar formatting, so most content and structure should carry over cleanly.
